Inch Cape’s offshore construction is engaging nine UK ports, with Leith, Dundee, Montrose, Blyth and Cromarty Firth among the key hubs supporting installation, logistics and long-term operations.

CWHI has completed delivery of all 30 Transition Pieces for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm after the final 15 units arrived at Forth Ports Limited in Leith, closing the company’s largest TP project to date.

Eight jacket structures and related steel equipment for the Inch Cape offshore wind project have departed for Scotland aboard XIN YAO HUA, with a total shipment weight of 19,500 tonnes.

COSCO’s Xin Yao Hua has loaded the fourth batch of jacket foundations for the Inch Cape Wind Power Project, adding to foundation transport activity for the 1.1 GW Scottish offshore wind development.

CWHI shipped the final 15 transition pieces for Inch Cape to the Port of Leith in February 2026, completing delivery of all 30 TPs and reaching a 1,800,000 safe work hours milestone.

Fifteen transition pieces for the Inch Cape offshore wind project are now at the Port of Leith in Scotland, after transport from Qinzhou, China, on the heavy-lift vessel Hua Sheng Long operated by COSCO.

On 23 December 2025, CNOOC Engineering Zhuhai shipped the first jackets and monopile transition pieces for the 1.08 GW Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm from China to Scotland, starting foundation deliveries for the North Sea project.

CWHI has completed the second shipment of eight XXL monopiles for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. Transported on the ZHENHUA 33 and manufactured at the Qinzhou Yard, the components—up to 11.5 m wide and 2,300 t—were discharged at the Port of Leith.
