Subsea7 has secured a supermajor contract from Petrobras for the Sépia 2 field in Brazil, covering SURF work for 17 wells and a gas export line in the Santos Basin.

Petrobras has extended the offshore Brazil assignment for Valaris DS-4 by 1,064 days. The award adds about $447 million to Valaris backlog and keeps the drillship committed through 2030.

Ventura Offshore has secured two contract extensions with Petrobras for SSV Victoria and Atlantic Zonda, adding about $611 million in backlog and extending drilling activity offshore Brazil.

Petrobras and SBM Offshore have signed a $7.8 billion contract for P80 and P87 FPSOs in Brazil’s Sergipe-Alagoas deepwater project, with each unit designed for 120,000 barrels per day of oil production.

Petrobras confirmed an oil discovery in the pre-salt section of the Campos Basin at Marlim Sul offshore Brazil. Laboratory analysis will support further appraisal of the area.

Foresea has won a new Petrobras contract for the drillship ODN I offshore Brazil, adding about $465 million to backlog with work set to begin in early 2027.

PRIO said two more wells at Brazil’s Wahoo field are due online soon as the company keeps its target of 40,000 barrels of oil per day by the end of April. The first well has already stabilized at 12,000 barrels per day.

PRIO has secured approval to drill up to 14 new wells at the Frade field in Brazil’s Campos basin, following a licence amendment from Ibama and recent progress tied to the Wahoo project.
