Shell has agreed to acquire 30% of Bay du Nord offshore Canada. Equinor will retain 70% and remain operator as the CAD 14 billion development moves towards an investment decision targeted for early 2027.
Equinor will acquire bp’s non-operated interest in the Bay du Nord project offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, raising its ownership to 100% as the project moves toward a planned FID in early 2027.
