The U.S. Interior Department expects to finish the key engineering and cost study for the 800-mile Alaska LNG pipeline by the end of 2025, according to Reuters. The long-awaited project aims to transport natural gas from Alaska’s North Slope to the Gulf of Alaska for LNG export.
