Roll Group has expanded its project logistics fleet with the long-term charter of the wide deck carrier Bigroll KMC Beaumont, secured from partner KMC Bluewhale. The vessel was officially delivered in Singapore and will immediately enter service, reinforcing the company’s ability to handle heavy and oversized cargoes for global clients.
Measuring 139 meters in length and offering a 32-meter-wide deck, the Bigroll KMC Beaumont is designed to transport large-scale components across demanding markets, including renewable energy and oil & gas projects. The ship’s capabilities make it a strategic addition to Roll Group’s global transport solutions.
“This multi-year agreement supports our ongoing commitment to deliver integrated and highly reliable transport solutions for complex cargo,” said Peter Rondhuis, CEO of Roll Group. “We’re excited to bring the Bigroll KMC Beaumont into operation and thank KMC Bluewhale for their collaboration and professionalism during the delivery process.”
KMC Bluewhale, a long-standing partner in heavy marine transport, operates a fleet tailored to offshore construction and large-scale logistics. The Bigroll KMC Beaumont is one of two advanced vessels within its portfolio.
The handover in Singapore marks an important milestone in the cooperation between Roll Group and KMC Bluewhale, with both companies strengthening their alignment in strategic shipping corridors. The partnership will expand further in December 2025, when Roll Group takes delivery of the Bigroll KMC Busan under another multi-year charter.
