Noble Corporation has secured a contract from Tullow Oil for the drillship Noble Faye Kozack offshore Ghana. The contract covers up to 10 wells and is expected to begin in mid-2027.

Separately, Tullow Oil said in its 5 August 2026 trading statement that it was progressing a rig contract for its 2027/28 Ghana drilling programme, known as Campaign 2. The programme is planned to include up to 10 wells starting in the second half of 2027, with target selection supported by 4D seismic and Ocean Bottom Node survey data.

Kosmos Energy, a partner in the Ghana assets, also said in its second-quarter 2026 results that the partnership was working to secure a rig for a 2027/28 campaign of up to 10 wells, with drilling expected to start in mid-2027.

Tullow’s independent audit of its petroleum assets at year-end 2025 provides additional detail on Campaign 2. The report identifies four Jubilee infill wells and one workover as part of a joint infill campaign with TEN.

The Noble Faye Kozack was built by Samsung Heavy Industries in 2013. Noble lists the drillship with a rated water depth of 12,000 ft and a drilling depth capacity of 40,000 ft.

Noble’s 27 July 2026 Fleet Status Report listed the Noble Faye Kozack under contract with Petrobras in Brazil from July 2024 through January 2027. The same report listed the Noble Venturer under contract with Tullow Oil in Ghana through September 2026.
