MV GHT MARINAS, a heavy-lift multipurpose vessel arriving from Qinzhou, China, berthed at the Additional Berth of V.O. Chidambaranar Port in Tuticorin, India, with an import load of 103 wind turbine blades measuring 76.8 m and 89.5 m. The consignment is intended for Envision Energy India Private Limited. NTC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. is handling agency services, stevedoring, customs-related work, and inland transport.

The operation took place alongside the port’s ongoing cargo activity. On 30 October 2025, VOC Port recorded 500,000 TEUs in the current financial year, reflecting an 8.84% increase over the corresponding period last year. Through October 2025, the port handled 72,615 TEUs, up from 58,123 TEUs in October 2024, a 24.93% increase. Handling of windmill blades and associated equipment has also grown, reaching 2,300 units by October 2025, up from 1,425 during the same period in the previous year —a 61% increase.
