InterMoor, part of Acteon’s Moorings & Anchors division, and Jumbo Offshore have announced a new strategic alliance designed to strengthen their combined position in the offshore energy market.

Starting September 2025, the collaboration will merge InterMoor’s proven expertise in mooring systems and anchoring with Jumbo Offshore’s heavy transport and offshore installation capabilities.

The partnership will focus on providing comprehensive solutions across three core service areas: transport, engineering, and installation. These services are aimed at supporting the development of floating wind projects, offshore oil and gas platforms, and other floating energy infrastructure.

By pooling resources and coordinating project planning, the alliance intends to streamline operations, reduce the number of interfaces for clients, and improve overall project efficiency. Jumbo Offshore’s specialized fleet and installation capacity will complement InterMoor’s knowledge of mooring, anchoring, and subsea foundations, creating an integrated service offering for complex offshore developments.

The move comes amid accelerating global demand for offshore renewable energy, particularly floating wind farms. With governments and developers seeking contractors capable of managing large-scale, turnkey offshore solutions, the alliance positions both companies to compete for higher-value and more technically demanding projects.
