HEBO has been awarded a contract to deliver full engineering, preparation, removal and disposal (EPRD) for the Wintershall Noordzee L5-C gas production platform on the Dutch Shelf and the Wingate gas production platform on the UK Shelf, with a potential expansion of scope.

The contract covers (hydro-)static and (hydro-)dynamic engineering, as well as the development of procedures and work packages. Offshore preparation activities will be carried out on both topsides and jackets, including making the facilities safe, installing temporary steelwork, and executing (subsea) dredging and cutting operations.

Offshore removal and subsequent load-in of the structures at the disposal yard are included, together with full project management from engineering through to final material disposal.
