Hanwha Ocean has been awarded a module fabrication scope for the Leviathan Expansion Project by Chevron Mediterranean Limited.

The development is offshore Israel and calls for additional modules to be manufactured and then integrated into the currently operating platform, with the aim of increasing the field’s production.

Since the third quarter of 2024, Hanwha Ocean has supported Chevron during project development, including constructability input. The company said the project’s successful execution is expected to help address growing energy needs across local and regional markets.

Philippe Levy, President of the Energy Plant Unit at Hanwha Ocean, said the company remains committed to safe and successful execution, adding that the award further reinforces its long-term partnership with Chevron.
