The barge Fjord, towed by the 120 tBP oceangoing tug Eraclea, is making steady progress from Greece to Poland with export cable cargo for an offshore wind project.

The shipment includes two main export cables, each weighing more than 5,000 tonnes, together with four spare cables. The cargo was loaded in Greece before the transport unit continued its voyage to Poland.

After arrival, the cables will be transferred from Fjord to a cable-laying vessel and installed offshore as part of the project works.
