Expro completed its acquisition of Enhanced Well Technologies Group AS, known as Enhanced Drilling, on 23 July 2026 for approximately NOK 2 billion in cash, or about $215 million. The purchase price also includes customary closing and working capital adjustments.

The transaction adds managed pressure drilling technologies to Expro’s portfolio, including controlled mud level drilling, along with riserless mud recovery capabilities.

Enhanced Drilling operates mainly offshore Norway and in the Gulf of America. Expro plans to use its existing international network to expand the availability of the acquired technologies and services in other markets.

The company identified Brazil, other parts of South America, West Africa and Australia as potential areas for further market penetration. Chief Executive Officer Michael Jardon also said the combined business was positioned to broaden access to the technologies in West Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

In connection with the transaction, Expro granted equity awards to 23 non-executive employees who previously worked for Enhanced Drilling. The inducement awards represent an aggregate of 200,715 shares of Expro common stock and were granted under New York Stock Exchange Listing Rule 303A.08.

The awards consist of time-based restricted stock units that are scheduled to vest on 23 July 2029.

Expro provides services across the well life cycle, covering well construction, well flow management, subsea well access, and well intervention and integrity. The company has approximately 7,000 employees and operates in onshore and offshore markets across more than 60 countries.
