Twenty wind turbines have been installed at Dogger Bank B, the second 1.2 GW phase of the 3.6 GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm in the UK, according to a recent operations notice.

Dogger Bank B will include 95 GE Haliade-X 13 MW turbines installed on monopile foundations. Foundation installation across all three phases was completed in November 2025.

In February 2026, Jan De Nul’s wind turbine installation vessel Voltaire installed the final GE Haliade-X 13 MW turbine at Dogger Bank A. The vessel then moved to Dogger Bank B, where the first turbine was installed in March 2026.

Earlier project information indicates that turbine installation at Dogger Bank B is expected to continue until around the second quarter of 2027.

The full 3.6 GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm is owned by SSE Renewables, Equinor and Vårgrønn. Once complete, it will have 277 turbines in total: 190 Haliade-X 13 MW units across Dogger Bank A and B, and 87 Haliade-X 14 MW units at Dogger Bank C.

In May 2026, GE Vernova changed the marshaling port for the project. Able Seaton Port in Hartlepool had been used for Dogger Bank A and initially for Dogger Bank B. Under a recent agreement with Maraen, turbine marshaling operations will move to the Maraen Port of Nigg in Scotland.
