DOF Group ASA has been awarded a contract by TotalEnergies for the FSO Unity Replacement Project, covering subsea construction, mooring operations, disconnection of an existing floating storage and offloading (FSO) unit, and connection of its replacement.

The contract will be executed by DOF Group ASA‘s Atlantic region and includes engineering, transportation, and installation of mooring systems, along with associated subsea construction work.

The project will involve project management, engineering, and offshore execution. Four vessels are scheduled to support the offshore campaign, accounting for approximately 330 vessel days.

Project management and engineering activities will begin immediately from DOF Group ASA‘s offices in Aberdeen, Scotland, and Bergen, Norway. Offshore operations are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027 and the first quarter of 2028.

According to DOF Group ASA, the contract falls within its “Large” contract category, which the company defines as between $50 million and $100 million.
