Allseas is preparing to deliver a 500-km deepwater pipeline system for Enbridge in the US Gulf, a project aimed at reinforcing subsea transport routes for future energy production in the region.

The work covers a series of export lines placed in deep water, each tied back through steel catenary risers, forming part of 515 km of subsea infrastructure planned for crude oil and natural gas. Offshore installation will be carried out by Solitaire, which will utilise Allseas’ double-joint production system to support faster and more precise pipelay operations.

According to Allseas, the new system will extend Enbridge’s existing deepwater network and provide additional export capacity as production and transport volumes increase. The company notes that the programme builds on more than 8,000 km of subsea pipelines previously installed by Allseas in the Gulf.

The project involves work in water depths reaching 2,000 m, identified as among the deepest in the area, and ranks among the longest pipeline installation efforts undertaken in the region. Allseas states that rapid execution is enabled by technology designed to maintain installation accuracy.

Offshore activities are scheduled for 2027–2028, with onshore and offshore teams contributing their expertise throughout the campaign.
