At the REBO Terminal in Port Oostende, Belgium, two large cranes manufactured by Vigan Engineering were recently assembled and shipped to Benghazi, Libya, on October 13, 2025.

The operation was organized in coordination with Manora Logistics, with additional technical support from MultiTech and OSSCO NV. The project involved complex heavy-lift handling and transport, carried out entirely from the REBO Terminal’s facilities.

According to Port Oostende, the successful completion of this project illustrates the terminal’s ability to accommodate large industrial equipment and manage multi-partner logistics operations efficiently.

Vigan Engineering, a Belgian company specializing in bulk material handling systems, selected the site for its location and existing heavy-lift infrastructure. The cranes were loaded onto a cargo vessel for transport to North Africa, where they will be deployed in port and bulk cargo operations.
