Emerson has entered into a 13-year frame agreement, including options, with Equinor covering measurement instrumentation technologies and services for the company’s offshore and onshore operations worldwide.

The agreement will support Equinor’s objectives to accelerate development, extend field life, improve recovery and standardize operations across its energy assets.

Under the collaboration, Emerson will provide measurement instrumentation, analytical technologies and lifecycle services. The two companies will also work together on technology development and digital operations.

The agreement builds on more than 40 years of cooperation between Emerson and Equinor. Their previous work has included subsea multiphase flow measurement, downhole monitoring, valves, emissions management, control and asset management technologies, as well as safety, pressure and temperature measurement instrumentation.

Slawomir Suchomski, President of Europe at Emerson, said the collaboration will support Equinor’s Norwegian Continental Shelf 2035 initiatives through measurement technologies aimed at production, reliability and operational performance.

The new agreement extends existing automation and digitalization programs between the two companies across Equinor’s global assets.
