Saipem has been awarded an offshore drilling contract worth approximately $260 million by Eni Côte d’Ivoire Limited.

The contract will deploy the Santorini drillship offshore Côte d’Ivoire for a long-term development drilling campaign scheduled to begin in early 2027.

The agreement includes a firm commitment for an extended drilling programme and optional additional periods. The Santorini may also be deployed in neighbouring countries.

Saipem disclosed the award in Milan on 22 July 2026.

The contract is classified as a related-party transaction of greater importance under Article 6 of the Consob Regulation on related-party transactions because Eni Côte d’Ivoire Limited is controlled by Eni S.p.A.

According to Saipem, the agreement is an ordinary transaction conducted under market-equivalent or standard conditions. It therefore falls within the exclusion under Article 13, paragraph 3, letter c) of the Consob Regulation and Article 8.2, letter c) of the company’s Management System Guidelines on transactions with related parties and parties of interest.
