Dolphin Drilling has extended the drilling contract for the deepwater-capable semisubmersible rig Blackford Dolphin with Oil India Limited.

The contract will continue until at least 28 August 2026. The extension is intended to allow completion of drilling, testing and abandonment work at locations East of India.

The company said the extension is based on the same terms and scope of work as the existing contract.
