DOF Wins APAC Subsea Contract for Skandi Inventor in Australia

DOF has secured a large contract in the Asia-Pacific region for subsea construction and pre-commissioning support services, with offshore operations scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 in North Australian waters.

The work will be carried out by Skandi Inventor. According to the company, the scope includes in-house project management and engineering, procurement, and logistics support services. The offshore campaign is expected to continue for between 160 and 250 days.

DOF said the vessel has secured firm backlog in the APAC region through the end of 2027 following its arrival in the region in early 2026.

The company classifies a “large” contract as having a value between $50 million and $100 million.
