Integrated Wind Solutions ASA (IWS) has secured additional employment for its Skywalker-class Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs), reflecting continued strong demand in the offshore wind sector.

A new Tier 1 client has contracted a Skywalker-class CSOV to cover an open period between two existing IWS Fleet charters in the third quarter of 2026. IWS said the selection reflects the vessel class’s operational reputation for providing reliable, high-quality services across the offshore wind sector.

An existing client has also exercised an extension option for one Skywalker-class vessel in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Together, the new commitments add about 120 days and about EUR 6 million to IWS‘ 2026 charter backlog.

Following these additions, 94% of available days for the second through fourth quarters of 2026 are now contracted, including charter extension options.

IWS owns approximately 75% of IWS Fleet, which owns six Commissioning Service Operation Vessels. The company also owns offshore wind supply-chain service company IWS Services A/S and holds a 49% shareholding in PEAK Wind Group, an independent advisor, consultancy, data intelligence and wind farm operator.
